One Moorgate Place, also known as Chartered Accountants’ Hall, is headquarters to The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
This beautiful grade-II listed venue in Moorgate, London contains opulent rooms with high ceilings, stone columns and hand-painted murals that remain a fascinating insight in the buildings historical and cultural heritage. Throughout the building, several of ICAEW’s early members and presidents are commemorated in paintings, marble statues and plaques which lends a wonderful gravitas to the spaces.
However, alongside the original neo-Baroque architecture comes more modern extensions and updates that have taken place throughout its history. The Art Deco feel of these areas create a real juxtaposition with the original features making the range of spaces available so varied and versatile.

With its impressive domed glass ceiling and colourful stained-glass windows, the Main Reception is understandably the focal point of One Moorgate Place. Boasting striking murals by George Murray which beautifully complement the impressive stone columns and an elaborate chandelier.

Members Room
Originally the library, the Members room is an extraordinarily charming Italian inspired space, dominated by its stunning balustrade bridge. This elegant room houses a collection of rare books and really typifies the character of the building.

Auditorium
The Auditorium is a fairly new space at One Moorgate Place. What was once the traditional Council Chamber has now been refurbished to become a fresh and modern addition, housing top of the range technical facilities with a flawless contemporary finish.
