One Moorgate Place, also known as Chartered Accountants’ Hall, is headquarters to The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
This beautiful grade-II listed venue in Moorgate, London contains opulent rooms with high ceilings, stone columns and hand painted murals that remain a fascinating insight in the buildings historical and cultural heritage. Throughout the building several of ICAEW’s early members and presidents are commemorated in paintings, marble statues and plaques which lends a wonderful gravitas to the spaces.
However alongside the original neo Baroque architecture comes more modern extensions and updates that have taken place throughout its history. The Art Deco feel of these areas create a real juxtaposition with the original features making the range of spaces available so varied and versatile.
